1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Client” or “User”) and Casa Contour (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our services in any capacity, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age, or have the explicit written consent of a parent or legal guardian
• Have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions
• Have read and agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference
• Are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in the Province of Alberta, Canada

2. Scope of Services & Studio Limitations

Scope of Services

Casa Contour offers boutique body contouring, Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage, Colombian Wood Therapy, postoperative lymphatic care, and postpartum wellness sessions. Specific services and treatment descriptions are available on our website and through our booking platform.

Non-Medical & Non-Surgical Disclaimer

Casa Contour is a boutique body contouring and wellness studio. Our services are non-invasive and intended for body sculpting, relaxation, fluid reduction, and holistic wellness support. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or surgical complication. Our treatments are not a substitute for professional medical care, surgical follow-up, or physician recommendations.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse, pause, or discontinue services to any individual at our sole discretion, including but not limited to situations where:

• A client’s health condition or surgical status presents a medical contraindication
• Required medical clearance from a surgeon or physician has not been provided
• A client appears under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• A client exhibits disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate behavior toward staff
• A client fails to disclose essential health history or medical conditions

3. Appointments, Deposits & Cancellation Policy

Booking Appointments

Appointments are scheduled online via our Square booking platform. An appointment is confirmed only upon receipt of booking confirmation via email or SMS.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Because appointment times are reserved exclusively for you in a private setting:

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee or result in the forfeiture of any deposit or prepaid session.
• Failure to show up for a scheduled appointment (“no-show”) will result in the loss of your appointment fee or session credit and may require full prepayment for future bookings.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session time may be shortened to avoid delaying subsequent clients. Full service fees will still apply. We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes prior to your scheduled time.

Studio Cancellations

In the rare event that Casa Contour must cancel or reschedule your appointment due to therapist illness, extreme weather, or unforeseen emergencies, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative appointment time.

4. Payment, Packages & Pricing

• Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards via Square and other approved payment channels displayed at checkout. Payment is due prior to or immediately following your session.
• Pricing: All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Prices may be updated periodically on our website or booking system.
• Treatment Packages & Series: Prepaid packages and treatment series are non-refundable and non-transferable. Packages must be used within the specified validity period from the date of purchase.

5. Health Disclosures & Medical Clearance

• Postoperative Clients: Post-surgical clients must receive written medical clearance from their operating surgeon before booking lymphatic drainage sessions.
• Health Assessment: You agree to provide accurate and complete health information regarding allergies, pregnancies, recent surgeries, cardiovascular conditions, skin conditions, and active medications.
• Assumption of Risk: Body contouring, lymphatic massage, and wood therapy involve physical contact and firm pressure. You voluntarily assume all inherent risks associated with receiving these physical treatments.

6. Client Conduct & Studio Environment

Casa Contour is dedicated to maintaining a tranquil, private, and professional atmosphere. Clients are required to:

• Treat therapists and fellow clients with mutual dignity and respect
• Refrain from inappropriate comments, sexual harassment, or aggressive conduct
• Ensure mobile devices are silenced during treatments to maintain a relaxing space

Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session without refund and permanent revocation of booking privileges.

7. Intellectual Property

All text, branding, graphics, logos, images, design elements, and content on casacontour.ca are the exclusive property of Casa Contour and are protected under Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Province of Alberta and federal laws of Canada, Casa Contour, its owner, employees, and contractors shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from:

• Your use of our website or booking platform
• Any temporary redness, mild soreness, or natural bodily responses following body contouring or lymphatic treatments
• Your failure to disclose pertinent medical conditions or follow post-care instructions

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Casa Contour against any claims, losses, or legal expenses arising from your violation of these Terms and Conditions or misuse of our services.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal information and health records are collected, used, and protected strictly in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
